Québec à coeur

Thursday 24th June, from 7.30 pm to 11:30 pm
Esplanade des Quinconces

Thanks to a genuine “Carte Blanche”, Quebec sets the biggest square in Europe alight with more than three hours of concerts.  The special QUEBEC concert takes place with several highlights with the programming by the Rock School Barbey, a tribute to Luc Plamondon by the Quebec musical group represented by Jonathan Roy, Mlle FIZZ and CLIO.

Producer and songwriter from Quebec, Luc Plamondon is known above all for his participation in musicals like Starmania and Notre-Dame de Paris. From 1972, in addition to working with Emmanuelle, Renée Claude and Diane Dufresne, he became the songwriter for a number of singers from Quebec and Europe like Julien Clerc, Françoise Hardy, Johnny Hallyday, Céline Dion, and Petula Clark.
