BACCHUS FESTIVAL

The 23rd June : arrival of Le Belem

This year, in the presence of a number of French and foreign VIPS, the opening of this 7th “Bordeaux Celebrates Wine” event is commemorated by a number of highlights.  The majestic and festive arrival of the sailing ship LE BELEM in the late afternoon will kick off the event.

Le Belem

The famous sailing ship LE BELEM will again moor in front of the Bordeaux shipping exchange.

This stopover is the occasion for a new encounter with Bordeaux as well as with Quebec. This wonderful ambassador of the French flag had crossed the Atlantic to celebrate the 400th anniversary of this French-speaking town and a friend of Bordeaux.
